Come play with dolls with me!! When I was a little girl, I loved paper dolls. Before I learned to sew, I used my mother’s fabric scraps, glued them to paper and made clothes for them. This wall hanging quilt uses that same idea…. only now I use fusible material rather than glue. With this pattern, you will take a basic “paper” doll body and dress her anyway you want: dressy and lacey, bright and funky, country plaids, soft pastels…you get to decide. You will then add different facial expressions with permanent pens. After that, you will add “real” hair in the style of your choosing. This would make a fun decoration for any little girl’s room (or even your own!!).
